Another half year has passed...

Another half year has passed, and it is time for summer vacation. It has once again been an exciting time for Bodecker Partners. With several new risk management assignments to sell Nordic power and electricity certificates on behalf of investors and owners of Swedish wind and/or bio-power, we have now put our name on the map as an independent expert partner to electricity producers in the Nordic energy market. We have also had the privilege to support a number of investors with advice on PPA advisory, procurement of balance responsibility and market access, a number of risk and strategy projects, and development and testing of new price hedging methods that achieve both hedging and value creation.

An interesting assignment during the spring was to write and coordinate a referral response on the elcertificate stop-mechanism proposal for a number of the larger international investors in renewable power in Sweden and Norway. With great success we managed to gather a large part of the wind industry around our alternative proposal and we conducted several fruitful meetings with politicians and departments. We now hope for a positive decision as soon as possible after the summer to support continued investments in Swedish wind power!
